To set the scene, my parents move to Ireland. Very exciting. Very picturesque. Rolling green hills, charming pubs, all that good stuff.
There was just one problem: half the products they loved buying in the U.S. suddenly became a pain to get. A quick online order turned into an international scavenger hunt. Does this store ship to Ireland? Why is shipping $47? Why does ordering from three stores require taking out a small loan?
So, naturally, I became their Stateside parcel person — receiving packages, repacking everything, and sending it across the pond in one tidy shipment.
That’s how Stateside Parcel Co. came to be. You shop your favorite U.S. stores, send everything my way, and I consolidate it into one shipment before forwarding it to the UK or Ireland.
